Privacy Policy

Effective Date: 12/31/24      Las Updated: 6/24/26

This Privacy Policy explains how Zandbox (“Zandbox,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit www.zandbox.net (the “Site”), contact us, or communicate with us by email or text message. By using the Site or providing us with your information, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who we are

Zandbox is a vendor-agnostic communications advisory firm. The party responsible for your information under this policy is:

Zandbox LLC

2603 W 24th Ave, Denver, CO 80211

Email: forrestkatzer@zandbox.net

Phone: (720) 504-0038

2. Information we collect

We collect information in three ways:

Information you give us

When you fill out a contact or booking form, request information, subscribe to updates, or otherwise communicate with us, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, company name, job title, and the contents of your message or inquiry.

Mobile number and SMS consent

If you provide your mobile number and opt in to text messaging, we collect your number along with a record of your consent (the method, date, and time). See Section 4 for how we handle text messaging.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical information through cookies and similar technologies — for example, your IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, referring pages, and how you interact with the Site. Our Site is hosted on Wix, which collects and processes some of this information on our behalf as part of providing the hosting platform.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and provide the advisory services you request;

  • Schedule, confirm, and follow up on meetings and consultations;

  • Send you information, proposals, and materials you have asked for;

  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site;

  • Understand how visitors use the Site through analytics; and

  • Comply with our legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

We process this information based on your consent, our legitimate business interests in operating and growing Zandbox, and the steps necessary to respond to your requests.

4. SMS / Text messaging

By providing your mobile number and opting in, you consent to receive text messages from Zandbox related to your inquiry, scheduled meetings, follow-ups, and requested materials. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe, or HELP for assistance.

Mobile information and SMS consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell or share text-messaging opt-in data or consent with any third party. Information may be shared only with subcontractors that directly support our services (for example, our messaging platform), and never for their own marketing.

We send text messages only to people who have opted in. We do not send unsolicited or cold text messages.

5. Cookies and tracking technologies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to function properly, remember your preferences, and measure Site performance. Some cookies are set by Wix to operate and secure the Site; we may also use analytics tools that set their own cookies. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some features of the Site may not work properly without them.

6. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers — vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as website hosting (Wix), our messaging platform, scheduling tools, and email providers. These providers may access your information only to perform services for us and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

  • Legal and safety reasons — when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Zandbox, our clients, or others.

  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you of any change in how your information is handled.

7. Data retention

We keep your information only as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, to maintain our business records, and to comply with our legal obligations. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it.

8. How we protect your information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • The right to access the personal information we hold about you;

  • The right to correct inaccurate information;

  • The right to request deletion of your information;

  • The right to opt out of certain processing, including marketing communications;

  • The right to data portability; and

  • The right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise any of these rights, email us at [your email]. We will respond as required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request.

10. Third-party links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

11. Children’s privacy

The Site is intended for business professionals and is not directed to children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. International visitors

Zandbox is based in the United States, and your information is processed and stored in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be posted on this page, and we encourage you to review this policy periodically.
