Most communication vendors will tell you their platform is the right one. I spent a decade learning why that’s rarely true.

I started my career on the carrier side, at Level 3 and Zayo Group, where I learned how enterprise telecommunications infrastructure actually works under the hood. Not the demo version. The real version: how calls get routed, where systems break down, and what “enterprise-grade” actually means when a thousand employees are depending on it.

Then I joined Zoom, where I watched the cloud communication revolution happen from the inside. I saw which platforms delivered on their promises, which ones looked great in a proof of concept and fell apart at implementation, and which vendors were genuinely building something better versus riding a marketing wave.

What I kept seeing, regardless of the company or the platform, was the same problem: businesses were managing too many vendors, paying too many bills, and working with salespeople who were more focused on closing a deal than on finding the right fit.

That’s why I started Zandbox

I'm a vendor-agnostic advisor and partner agent with two of the largest TSDs in North America, which gives me access to 200+ UCaaS and CCaaS platforms. That matters because when you talk to me, I'm not trying to shoehorn your business into whatever product I happen to have a quota on this quarter. I'm looking at the whole market to figure out what actually fits your team, your budget, and where you're trying to go.

Most of the companies I work with are professional services firms, manufacturers, and tech companies. They're tired of juggling a mess of communication vendors and ready for something modern that actually holds together. I also work with growth-stage startups who want to get their communication stack right the first time instead of ripping it out and starting over once they've scaled.

I'm based in Denver. If you want an honest conversation about what you're running today and whether there's a smarter way to do it, I'm up for that. No pitch, no pressure. I'd genuinely enjoy the conversation.
